| Newsletter September 2024 Thank you to all who attended Hay Day this past Saturday at the ranch! We were blown away by this years attendance, smiling faces and support for the horses. Over 500 people visited the ranch and we could not have done that without all of the amazing volunteers who helped set up, manned stations, walked countless pony ride circles to introduce the community to the horses and the ranch. THANK YOU!!!! Interested in becoming a volunteer? Join us this Saturday, September 21, for Community Volunteer Day! Another BIG Thank you goes out to our Program Horses Chica, Cleo, Jack, Cutter and Grace and minis Sophie, Diego and Racey, for the many circles of pony rides, pets, grooms and loving. But wait! | | Horse Updates Welcome Cheech, Little Bay, Dolly & Catillac! All are doing well, settling in and putting on weight. Little Bay and Cheech have moved to corrals and are quickly making friends while they enjoy the pasture space. Dolly and Catillac remain in the ICU Barn as we further evaluate how we can best help little Catillac with his dislocated hip. There are not many options, and his prognosis is very guarded, but we remain hopeful as we explore all options for this little guy. Moon, Charcoal and Gus will all head out on adoption trial periods in the coming days, and we will look forward to welcoming intakes from our waiting list just as soon as those adoptions finalize. Help us continue to help more horses in 2024! Adopt, sponsor, foster! Reach out to see what might fit for you! |
