Hay Day & Robin's Nest Grand Opening! 

Join us for a Fun, Free, Family Day at the Ranch on Saturday, September 23 starting at 1pm!

Our 9th Annual Hay Day, from 1-4pm, will include pony rides, wagon rides, mini horse petting station, balloon art, face painting, ranch hand relays, games & crafts and so much more! All activities are FREE! 

Meet the rescue herd while you enjoy the ranch and watch training demonstrations by Versatile Equine. It promises to be a fun filled beautiful Fall day at the Ranch. Free drinks & snacks will be available, and Food Trucks will be on site to purchase delicious meals & ice cream! Hay Day is made possible this year by Vail Health

Hay Day this year is extra special, as we celebrate the Grand Opening of Robin's Nest starting at 4pm till 6pm. Enjoy the late afternoon and the company of Friends, Live Music, Drinks and the Food Trucks at the ranch!  Don't miss it!

Horse Updates

As we shared last month, August saw many adoptions finalize and more trial periods were started.  

Wildfire found her very own amazing person and started her trial period on the front range, where she will be a trail horse and have a young 4 year old horse friend.  For this beautiful girl to go from so disliked by her last owner, to loved by this new one, is an especially poignant Journey of Hope.

Bear has started the adoption process with an experienced horse person, who will be working with him on site for a number of weeks while she prepares his new home for him. 

Clifton, who has been at Summer Camp at Summit Valley Horse Center, has found a family to love him, even as an unrideable older gentleman. We are so happy for this sweet boy.  

Wren spent 6 weeks in training with Dan & Sophia with Versatile Equine, and has now found a person of her very own who has partnered with her to continue her training journey.

Sweety left for her new home in Steamboat Springs, where she will be loved and spoiled! 

Zephyr continues her recovery with an incredible foster family, who is hoping to adopt her as her recovery progresses.

With so many horses graduating from their Journey of Hope, we welcomed four new horses in August: Peanut, Sisco, Silk & Belle. As we get to know them, we will share more updates! 

We also welcomed back Moon, due to no fault of his own. He is ready for his next adventure, as this special gelding really loves having a person of his own.

Mini Clinics September 24! 

Need help with your horse? Versatile Equine is back on Sunday September 24th! 

Daniel and Sophia Harris with Versatile Equine are a dynamic duo with diverse backgrounds that came together with a united vision: to help horses become happy, confident athletes both inside and outside the arena. They believe that letting the horse choose to work with you, rather than making them work for you, goes a long way in building the trust and respect necessary for a solid relationship.

The clinics are 2 hours each, in a private session with your horse and the clinician that suits their goals best. Cost is $150 per 2 hour session. Space is limited! For more information & to register click button below.
